A.    Wasn't this the woman that stated to the campers "if you want the comforts of home-Go home".  How does she come up with summer campers since there are campers that use their property in the winter. Has anyone ever seen a past trustee do anything but get worse?

B.    Where does this woman live? All legal documents state that the property is known as Hideaway Lakes but maybe that is why she sees all that improvement and no one else does.

C.    Perhaps she needs to see what the legal term (shall) means before asking anyone to understand that Article of the covenants.

1. An observation that would make a person think. It was stated that the money spent on the roads was, as I remember, about 20,000.00.  With this much money spent and the roads are in such a need of repair, just think how bad they would have been if 30,000 or 40,000 dollars was spent on them. Is there a written plan for repair and upkeep for the roads?

While on the subject of the lake.  Does anyone know why we have a SUV for the trustees to use? Wouldn't it make more sense that a work truck would be more useful rather than a SUV.  If anyone would like to take the time to look the covenant it states that no gratuities are to be accepted by the trustees as they volunteered for the position. From what has been observed the SUV is being used by the appointed trustees for riding around to observe, personal transportation ?????????. How do the property owners know if the SUV is being used for transportation that is not related to Hideaway Lake trust business? Is there a record of mileage to and from, fuel, repairs, etc. each time the SUV is used? Does any one know who is in charge of keeping the records for all of the trust properties?

PS We wish to say that we appreciate the work done on this site.

2. To Whom it May Concern:

I would like to express that my family has four lots at Hideaway Lakes, and we pay our yearly dues which adds up to a little bit, and we would like to express a concern. When we come in to the entrance we have to go through so many pot holes and we are afraid that it is going to do some damage to our vehicle. If we  pay our dues yearly and in which case the money that we pay is suppose to go to the maintenance of the roads and etc. Who is going to pay my repair bill if something should happen to my vehicle?????

Thank you

A Concerned Owner

3. Will there be an actual business meeting in April? Will there be an actual detailed financial statement give out?

4. Today  I had to pay another $84.00 because there is always water that stays on the small spillway. The rotors on my car warp because I must drive through this water. WHY? Is there a grader fix? I am tired of paying money out for bad maintenance procedures. Get it fixed.

5. Has anyone noticed that before the annual meeting or big holiday weekends that the trustees spread gravel, paint, or mowing a little grass so that it looks like they are doing something?

6. Does anyone have a copy of the agenda for the 2007 annual meeting that has the financial statement?

7. Why is money being wasted by reminding property owners to pay their Caldwell County taxes when it has nothing to do with the Hideaway Lakes Trust?

8. Is this being placed on the assessment sheet to make the property owners think if they don't pay these assessments that their property can be sold at the courthouse?

9. Maybe it is time to hold the 5 people that is supposed to take care of the lake accountable for the bad shape it is in. All of the 5 have been in more than one term some up to 3 terms.

10. Hope all of you will be at the annual meeting on April 14th at the Polo school. If they actually hold a meeting so that the property owners can get answers to where did the assessment money go since no financial statement has been handed out in several years.
