All of these skills are needed to be efficient in an office or business setting. I have been able to learn them in my time as an officer in FBLA and working together as a team in my different sports. In today’s society, companies are sometimes more concerned with the “soft skills” of a prospective employee then they are with their technical skills. Soft skills complement hard skills which are the occupational requirements of a job and many other activities. Soft skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects. Soft skills relate to a person's ability to interact effectively with coworkers and customers and are broadly applicable both in and outside the workplace. |
